The question always is how long will a soap dish last until it rots or crack etc. Its a good question. Wooden soap dishes can last a long time (years) if they are cleaned every so often. We recommend once a month or so. Great way is to have 2 soap dishes. That way you have one to use while the used one dries. Now check out the this video. This is my soap dish and its very well used. As you can see it cleaned nicely and basically looks brand new. Its even flat. So yes, the answer is a soap dish can last a long time.

Check out Bolivian rosewood 😍 The colors are amazing! Looks more brown in the picture but the real color is more dark burgundy.

We have gotten so many requests about making a round soap bar. To make one with wood is way more time consuming than a regular one, which means we would have to charge more. We have the CNC to make those but we don't think anyone would pay what we would have to charge. So we came up with a different style. These are made of our natural minerals and looks a lot like cement, but they don't weigh has much as cement. With these we can do different colors. We are looking for a larger mold for the darker color soap dish. A shampoo bar (2.5" wide fits well) since many have much larger bar soaps than 2.5" wide. What do you think?
